Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey, her father (who passed away in the year 2019), was an ice-hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. She holds 12 WTA titles throughout her career, which includes her Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. She is also an excellent doubles player she has two more Majors to this area, including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both together with Elise Mertens. She also achieved an incredible Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open with Elise Mertens. Just four pairs of women's tennis have achieved this achievement. In the month of January, 2023, she surpassed her top ranking in singles. The 23rd day of August 2021, she rose to the second spot in the World rankings. The Belarusian rose up to the top of the doubles ranking the next year after triumphing the doubles title in Melbourne. This made her the second Belarusian tennis player be successful in tennis. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 and the end of 2019 as well as a part of early 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach she had for a short period between August and September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman, has coached her from the year 2020.
